About Absolver
Absolver is an online martial arts action game from Sloclap. Wearing a mask, you are a Prospect trying to prove yourself in a ruined empire, building your own fighting style from moves you learn and putting them together into combo decks. You can explore with others in co-op or face other players in duels. It supports controllers. The makers recommend a GTX 960 or R9 380 and 8 GB of memory, so a mid-range gaming PC runs it well.
What Absolver needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs almost any graphics, even the graphics built into the processor, and to play it well the makers suggest an entry-level graphics card, with 8GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | GeForce GTX 480 (1536 MB) / Radeon HD 7850 (2048 MB) | GeForce GTX 960 (4096 MB) / Radeon R9 380 (2048 MB) or better |
| Processor | Intel Core i7-950 (4 * 3000) or equivalent / AMD Phenom II X4 965 (4 * 3400) or equivalent | Intel Core i5-4670K (4*3400) or equivalent / AMD FX-8320 (8 * 3500) or equivalent |
| Memory (RAM) | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Storage | 11 GB available space | 11 GB available space |

Will my computer play Absolver?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
This is a light game: almost any of our gaming PCs will run it comfortably at high settings.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
Our PCs that meet the recommended spec
These should play Absolver well. Cheapest first.
