About FOR HONOR™
For Honor is a melee combat game from Ubisoft Montreal in which knights, samurai, Vikings and other warriors from history face off. Its fighting system has you choose the direction of each attack and block, so duels feel tactical and tense. Most players fight online in team battles or one-on-one duels, and there is also a story campaign that can be played alone or in co-op. It includes in-game purchases. It is rated PEGI 18. The makers recommend a GTX 1060 or RX 580 and 8 GB of memory, so a mid-range gaming PC runs it well.
What FOR HONOR™ needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs basic graphics: built-in graphics on a modern processor, or an old entry-level card, and to play it well the makers suggest a mid-range graphics card from a few years ago, with 8GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | NVIDIA GeForce GTX950 / GTX1050 with 2 GB VRAM | AMD Radeon R9 270 / R9 370 / RX460 with 2 GB VRAM | NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060 with 3 GB VRAM or more | AMD Radeon RX580 with 4 GB VRAM or more |
| Processor | Intel Core i3-4150 | AMD FX-4300 or equivalent | Intel Core i5-7500 | AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or equivalent |
| Memory (RAM) | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Storage | 90 GB available space | 90 GB available space |

Will my computer play FOR HONOR™?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
The gap between the minimum and recommended spec is modest, so a mid-range gaming PC gives a good experience.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
