About FOREWARNED
FOREWARNED is a co-op survival horror game for 1 to 4 players, from Dreambyte Games. You and your friends play archaeologists exploring ancient Egyptian ruins, investigating strange events, collecting treasure and learning what you are up against so you can banish the evil spirit hidden inside. You can play alone or online with friends. The makers recommend a GTX 970 or R9 290 and 8 GB of memory, so a mid-range gaming PC runs it well.
What FOREWARNED needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs an entry-level graphics card, and to play it well the makers suggest an entry-level graphics card, with 8GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | NVIDIA GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 | NVIDIA GTX 970 or AMD Radeon R9 290 |
| Processor | Intel i3-6100 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200, FX4350 or greater | Intel i5-4590 / AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or greater |

Will my computer play FOREWARNED?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
The gap between the minimum and recommended spec is modest, so a mid-range gaming PC gives a good experience.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
