About Golf With Your Friends
Golf With Your Friends is a light-hearted mini golf game from Blacklight Interactive and Team17 for as many as 12 players. Everyone takes their shots at the same time, racing round silly themed courses packed with ramps, traps and obstacles, and you can switch on power-ups to cause extra chaos. You can play alone, online, or in split screen on one PC, and the Steam Workshop adds courses made by other players. It is rated PEGI 7. The makers recommend a GTX 960 or R9 280 and 4 GB of memory, so a mid-range gaming PC runs it well.
What Golf With Your Friends needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs almost any graphics, even the graphics built into the processor, and to play it well the makers suggest an entry-level graphics card, with 4GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | GTX 460 / Radeon 6870 / Intel HD Graphics 630 | GTX 960 4GB VRAM / AMD R9 280 3GB VRAM |
| Processor | Intel i3-2100 / AMD FX-6300 @3.1GHz or higher | Intel i5-6600 3.3GHz / AMD FX 8350 4.0GHz |
| Memory (RAM) | 2 GB RAM | 4 GB RAM |
| Storage | 4 GB available space | 4 GB available space |

Will my computer play Golf With Your Friends?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
This is a light game: almost any of our gaming PCs will run it comfortably at high settings.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
