Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: PC requirements and the PC you need

About Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a first-person action adventure from MachineGames. It is 1937, and Indy travels the world to stop sinister forces seeking an ancient power linked to a mystery called the Great Circle, mixing exploration, puzzles, stealth, fist fights and his famous whip. It is single player and supports controllers. It is rated PEGI 16. It is demanding and needs a graphics card with ray tracing: the makers recommend an RTX 3080 Ti or RX 7700 XT and 32 GB of memory.

What Indiana Jones and the Great Circle needs

In plain words: to play at all it needs a decent mid-range graphics card, and to play it well the makers suggest a strong modern graphics card, with 32GB of memory.

A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?

For this game the gap between the minimum and the recommended spec is big, so a better PC makes a very noticeable difference.

On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.

On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
