About Infestation: The New Z
Made by Fredaikis AB, Infestation: The New Z is an online zombie survival game that is free to play. You can team up with friends to scavenge, stash and trade loot in a large open world, fight other groups of players, or take part in five-against-five competitive matches. It is played online and includes in-game purchases. The makers recommend a GTX 950 or R7 360 and 12 GB of memory, so any of our gaming PCs handles it easily.
What Infestation: The New Z needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs almost any graphics, even the graphics built into the processor, and to play it well the makers suggest basic graphics: built-in graphics on a modern processor, or an old entry-level card, with 12GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |

Will my computer play Infestation: The New Z?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
This is a light game: almost any of our gaming PCs will run it comfortably at high settings.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.

Questions about Infestation: The New Z on PC
What graphics card do I need for Infestation: The New Z?
The makers say the minimum is NVIDIA® GeForce GTX 465 / ATI Radeon TM HD 6870, and they recommend NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 950, ATI Radeon™ R7 360 or better. In plain words: basic graphics: built-in graphics on a modern processor, or an old entry-level card for a good experience.
How much memory (RAM) does Infestation: The New Z need?
At least 8GB, and 12GB is recommended. 16GB is the sensible amount for a gaming PC today.
Is Infestation: The New Z multiplayer?
Yes. You can play it multiplayer, massively multiplayer online, player versus player, online player versus player, co-op or online co-op.
Can a gaming PC from Sandbox Computers run Infestation: The New Z?
Yes. 109 of our PCs meet the recommended spec, from £579. They are built and tested in Worcester.
How we match: we compare the graphics card and the memory in each PC with the makers' spec, because those decide most of how a game runs. For very new or demanding games, ask us and we will check the processor too. More help: graphics cards explained, how much RAM, which screen.
