About Pirates Vikings & Knights II
Pirates, Vikings and Knights II is a free online multiplayer game from Octoshark Studios. Players pick a side, pirates, vikings or knights, then choose a class and fight it out in close-up sword, axe and musket battles that are as funny as they are frantic. It has been kept going for many years by its community, with Steam Workshop mods and cross-platform play. It is free to play. The makers ask for just 1 GB of memory, so any of our gaming PCs handles it easily.
What Pirates Vikings & Knights II needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs not stated by the makers, and to play it well the makers suggest not stated by the makers, with 1GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | 1.7 GHz Processor or better | Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better) |
| Memory (RAM) | 512 MB RAM | 1 GB RAM |
| Storage | 10 GB available space | 10 GB available space |

Will my computer play Pirates Vikings & Knights II?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
