About SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS
SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS is a SEGA package from Sonic Team that brings together two games. The first is a remaster of Sonic Generations, where Classic and Modern Sonic race through updated versions of famous stages, and the second is a new adventure starring Shadow the Hedgehog. It is a fast single player platformer that plays best with a controller. It is rated PEGI 7. The makers recommend a GTX 780, RX 470 or Arc A310 and 12 GB of memory, so a mid-range gaming PC runs it well.
What SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs basic graphics: built-in graphics on a modern processor, or an old entry-level card, and to play it well the makers suggest an entry-level graphics card, with 12GB of memory.

Will my computer play SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
This is a light game: almost any of our gaming PCs will run it comfortably at high settings.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
Our PCs that meet the recommended spec
These should play SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS well. Cheapest first.
