About Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is an online open-world shooter from Ubisoft, set in Washington, D.C. after a pandemic has thrown society into chaos. As an agent of the Division, you fight hostile factions in cover-based gunfights, collect better weapons and gear, and help the city recover, either alone or in a team with friends, with player-versus-player zones as well. It has in-game purchases. It is rated PEGI 18. The makers recommend a GTX 970 or RX 480 and 8 GB of memory, so a mid-range gaming PC runs it well.
What Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2 needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs basic graphics: built-in graphics on a modern processor, or an old entry-level card, and to play it well the makers suggest a mid-range graphics card from a few years ago, with 8GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | AMD R9 280X (3 GB), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (3 GB with Shader Model 5.0+), or better | AMD RX 480 (4 GB), NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB with Shader Model 6.0+), or better |
| Processor | AMD FX 6350, Intel Core i5-2500K, or better (SSE 4.2 and AVX support required) | AMD Ryzen 5 1500x, Intel Core i7-4790, or better (SSE 4.2 and AVX support required) |
| Memory (RAM) | 8 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Storage | 77 GB available space | 77 GB available space |

Will my computer play Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
The gap between the minimum and recommended spec is modest, so a mid-range gaming PC gives a good experience.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
