About Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts is a naval strategy game from Game-Labs set in the age of the great battleships. You design your own warships, choosing the hull, guns, armour and engines, then take command of fleets in detailed sea battles. In the campaign you guide a nation through a naval arms race, balancing budgets and technology against rival powers. It is single player. The makers recommend a GTX 1060 or RX 580 and 8 GB of memory, so a mid-range gaming PC runs it well.
What Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts needs
In plain words: to play at all it needs basic graphics: built-in graphics on a modern processor, or an old entry-level card, and to play it well the makers suggest a mid-range graphics card from a few years ago, with 8GB of memory.
| Part | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics card | Nvidia GeForce GTX 660, AMD Radeon HD 7870 | Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, AMD Radeon RX 580 |
| Processor | Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3GHz, AMD Phenom II X4 940 | Intel Core i7 3770 3.4 GHz, AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz |
| Memory (RAM) | 4 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Storage | 4 GB available space | 8 GB available space |

Will my computer play Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts?
On most computers we find the graphics card for you. Add your processor and memory, and we will tell you if it plays, and what to upgrade if not.
A low-spec PC or a high-spec PC?
The gap between the minimum and recommended spec is modest, so a mid-range gaming PC gives a good experience.
On a PC that only just meets the minimum, the game will start and play, but on low settings: simpler shadows and textures, shorter view distances and fewer frames each second, so fast moments can feel less smooth. A 1080p screen is the sensible match.
On a PC that meets or beats the recommended spec, you can turn the settings up: sharper textures, proper shadows and lighting, more detail in the distance, and a smoother picture. A stronger PC also lets you use a sharper 1440p or high-refresh screen.
